The ASU Baha’i Club brought Badgley to campus to speak about love and relationships. many people came bent hear him speak.
The show “You” is so popular, it’s got tons of individuals talking about the risks of dating. As “You” grows in popularity, so does the number of women who say they’d wish to date the most character, Joe, a stalker and murderer.
“I think initially it had been disturbing, but I feel what I’ve realized is he’s a tool,” said the actor who plays Joe, Penn Badgley. “He’s meant to be seductive, so what it finishes up being maybe a portal to conversation, so we will believe why it’s we are interested in an individual like this and why we’re so willing to forgive the abusive behavior for somebody who seems like me as against somebody who fits in another category.”
